Knowing a little bit about your counselor or therapist can help you make the right choice.
I am a clinical psychologist, licensed in the state of Washington since 2002.
In 2010, I served at the University of Washington's Resident and Fellow Wellness Program, offering individual and couples therapy to physicians-in-training. From February 2016 - May 2017, I worked as the Associate Producer of Death: The Podcast. Death: the podcast explored how death and all endings connect us more deeply with life. My therapy practice is located in the Phinney - Greenwood neighborhood of North Seattle. The office is a short distance from Ballard, Wallingford, South Lake Union, Shoreline, and Greenlake. It is easily accessible via public transportation--the #5 bus stop is less than two blocks away, on Phinney Ave & N. 50th Street! When I'm away from the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, making messes in the kitchen, listening to podcasts, singing, taking long walks in the city, or hiking in the woods.
