Knowing a little bit about your counselor or therapist can help you make the right choice.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist who received a doctoral degree from Nova Southeastern University (Ft. Lauderdale, FL) in 1999, after completing an internship in the Counseling and Consultation Center at Arizona State University (Tempe, AZ).
I began working in private practice in Arizona in 2000, moved to Seattle in 2001, and re-started private counseling practice here in 2002. I've been working as a therapist in private practice ever since. In 2010, I served at the University of Washington's Resident and Fellow Wellness Program, offering counseling and therapy services to physicians-in-training (residents and fellows). From February 2016 - May 2017, I worked as the Associate Producer of Death: The Podcast. Death: the podcast explored how death and all endings connect us more deeply with life. I am a proud resident of the Phinney-Greenwood neighborhood, where my office is located. When away from the office, I enjoy spending time with family and friends, cheering on the Seahawks, making messes in the kitchen, listening to podcasts, singing, walking my dog, and/or hiking in the woods. |
